The world we live in

These are my observations. These are my thoughts.

Just take a look around. . .

What are we living in? An excuse for a world in which evils of all sorts can escape and in some cases be perceived as "the only way" or "the right way." We live in a world where a woman and a man can do the same job, but the man gets paid more. We live in a world where racism is everywhere, but people just turn their heads. We live in a world where everything could be excused for the right price. We live in a country where money can get you out of any jam and you can get life for dealing, but only a few years for murder. We live and pretend to be happy, turning our heads from all that is wrong, and focusing on all the illusions that the evil provides us with so we won't feel bad. So we can sleep better at night and keep those kids starving in Guatamala and those homeless cold and hungry as supermodels vomit their food and die just as the poor do.
So is there a solution? Yes. Is there a way out? Of course. But are we willing to succumb to this miraculous escape from this horrid existence in this beautiful country ran by twisted politicians? No. Never will and glad not to. Why? Because we're convinced that anything we do will be foiled. Why? What drives this fear? What consumes us with panic and drives our inner urge to just run away from all that is wrong and leave it for someone else to bother with? Because that's what we were taught. We were taught to never argue with the powers that be and just accept the inevitable fate. That life is meaningless and futile as death nears ever so close. We were taught and had all of this stuffed down our throats for so long that we've just grown to see this as another condition of life. But, a seed of rebellion has been growing in us and is finally sprouting in its truest form. Children are beginning to show the rebellion by defying authority and asking why? Why do things have to be so fucked up and wrong? Why do things have to always be the way you sayit has to be? Because your the parent? Then show me respect as I show you the same. Show me how good of a person you are inside and help me grow. Help me become a better me by showing me the better you. Help us rebel against "the powers that be" that insist that black people must be gangbangers and thugs. The people that are hellbent on the fact that all mexicans are immigrants, trying to take our jobs, smoking weed constantly and part of a gang. That all women are to blame for bastard children and that they're murderers for abortion. Yeah, killing babies is wrong, no matter the circumstances, but what if its the lesser of all evils. What if the baby is going to have a disease and live a horrid life. What if its the baby of a rapist. Oh, you never thought of that did you ? But think of that next time, and try and walk a mile in their shoes. And who are these powers that be? Who are they that want us to believe that any arab at any minute will go and bomb something or hijack a 747 to fly into our buildings.
No, not all are wrong. Not all are to blame, but we blame anyway, don't we? Well, I ask you this? Why aren't all white people blamed for Jeffrey Dahlmer and Charles Manson? Why aren't all Japanese blamed for Pearl Harbor? Why are only Arabs blamed for their people's evils? Why are women blamed for this country's misfortunes? Why are mexicans despised for immigration? Why are African Americans blamed for most crimes and wrongs? Think about that. Hey, just take a look around.
